St Vincent Guest House

Business Type:

B&B (Dog friendly)

Address:

Market Street Lynton Devon EX35 6AF

One of the most beautiful Grade II listed buildings in Lynton Old Town, where Clive and Maria  who took over the running in Aug 2020, offer comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation for most of the year.

Built in 1834 by master mariner Thomas Geen who was captain on the
Bristol-built ship St Vincent (allegedly for his mistress), his Ship St
Vincent took part in the battle against the Spanish on 14th February 1797
with Nelson. This Georgian house is full of history, character and charm (and
free fibre optic broadband). You can spend a relaxing and peaceful break in
the heart of the Exmoor National Park where we are just two minutes away from
the Lynton–Lynmouth part of the South West Coast Path & a great area for
Dogs where the majority of shops, restaurants & pubs accept dogs & the
majority of local’s have at least 1 dog.
