A free event to meet staff from Devon and Cornwall Fire and Rescue and the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust, with their kit.

Meet the local fire crew and their 4x4 fire engine designed for the commons. Have a look at equipment and try on some firefighting clothing. Sit in the Ranger’s tractor and find out why it is so important for protecting the heaths from fire.

Talk to the teams to learn more about last year’s fire and find out how you can help us prevent wildfires and what to do if you see one.
