Join Julie from Devon Loves Dogs and Rob, Forestry England Ranger for a social, guided dog walk through the woods. Walk starts at 10am and lasts up to 1.5 hours. Come and learn a little about the woods whilst the dogs enjoy the sights and sniffs! Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended. Walks are free but you will need to book your place.
Directions for Whitecross From Ottery St Mary: Follow Chineway Road, East out of Ottery. Climb Chineway Hill and at the top of the hill turn right. Follow this woodland road for approx. 2.5 miles until you see a car park directly in front of you at a small crossroads. A Forestry Commission sign is also in place on the left of the car park entrance. From Honiton: Follow the A375 South towards Sidmouth. Turn right at the Hare & Hounds pub. Drive past Putts Corner caravan site on right and take next available left turn, before you drop down Chineway Hill. Follow this woodland road for approx. 2.5 miles until you see a car park directly in front of you at a small crossroads. A Forestry Commission sign is also in place on the left of the car park entrance.
